Demajen.net Forums Closing Down

As you may have noticed, the demajen.net forums have become targets for a huge number of bot users.

Manually deleting this many bots will take forever.

Thus, the demajen.net/superdojo forums are being taken down.

No one posts in the demajen.net bit anyways, and as part of the forthcoming Superdojo redesign (more on that soon), you will find that it has its own forum set.

I don't browse the World of Warcraft forums too often, but this thread was linked from the main page, and as I play a Warlock in WoW, it tickled me.

I don't normally advertise other stuff that I use, but I DO use MSN (or Windows Live Messenger as it is now called) and I've always used an addon called MSGPLUS which basically adds in a load of stuff that Microsoft should have thought of, but didn't. For the new Windows Live there is now MSG+Live. Its available here.

Welcome to Demajen.Net v.6

Not too long back I started buying a magazine called ImagineFX that inspired me to pursue my talents at digital art further. It recommended getting a website to showcase my artwork. I already had one, but the gallery section was fairly incomplete. In order to speed up the process, I had a look round the web at some other sites, found one I liked, and pretty much pilfered the code for it. I could have designed the whole thing from scratch, but I was very busy with my job at the time, and now I've quit the whole teaching business, I felt very guilty about the whole thing.

So this is my new site. Or at least the opening page to it anyways. This version of the site uses Blogger as a base for easy access. I've been using a a blog from Blogger.com for a while now for the Adventures of Demajen and Saikyo, my Final Fantasy XI diary, but recently personal stuff has arrived on there simply cos its so easy to update. This is my way of separating them out. Sure, I have 2 web logs to update now, but such is life =D

It is now 4am and I've posted the bulk of the gallery, plus my biography, as posts, linkable on the right. The Gallery took me a long time to figure out. Hope there aren't any gaping bugs in it that peoples' browsers find. If there are, I'm v.sorry.

~PS~: Currently the page is set to show only 2 posts. This is until I post more which will force the gallery post off the bottom. Default number of posts is 7, which would mean that the gallery would load up at the bottom of the page, which would take a looooooong time. ><

~PPS~: Have just tried looking at the blog in Internet Explorer 7(beta) and, unsurprisingly, Microsoft's flagship browser STILL doesn't fully support CSS and resizes things wrong. Use Firefox for best results!
